Reviews for Michelin Rear Pilot Road 3 190/50ZR-17 Blackwall Tire - 46235
Love the Stick and Love the Quick!
This will be my 3rd set of PR3's that I just purchased. I have a 2nd gen Hayabusa so obviously not a race bike. That being said, I really enjoy the occasional track day. These tires definitely have more stick than the PR2's on the track. Also, they are fairly good and rain and weren't as horrible as other tires I have tried in snow (yes, I'm a nut). But the biggest thing - I'm getting 7K+ on a set. For a guy that's heavy on the throttle and even does track on a heavy bike with tons of power, 7K+ is a great number!I would recommend this item to a friend.
Best tire out there!
I was recommended this tire for my 1998 TL1000R and I can see why. Superior grip in dry and wet weather. I highly recommend this tire to everyone looking for a street tire with race tire attitude.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Road 3 awesome value
Well I have spend several seasons on pilot road 2's with excellent results on my ZX-14 here in Pa especially since theres a wide temp variation sometimes from morning to late afternoon the Michelin road family of tires are perfect for me. The road 3's are an improvement on an already great tire. Excellent turn in when sporting around the twisties with slightly better grip and excels when raining due to the tire having all the sipes to evacuate water quickly. I typically will go through a rear in less then three thousand but at this mileage these tires are just starting to square and still have more to go. My last set lasted six thousand which is unheard of on a big boar bike. I'm happy enough that I hope they continue this tire series for years to come!I would recommend this item to a friend.
