Best sport touring tire available
I have used the roadsmarts and the original road. The road 2 has been longer lasting with more grip for me on a 2003 VFR. I am able to get 7500-9000 miles out of this rear. Stock bridgestone lasted 3400 miles, road lasted 7000 but had bad grip in cold and especially the wet. The roadsmarts were the closest to the road 2. The rear lasted about the same for me, and grip was similar, maybe a little less. I like the pilot power front and pilot road 2 combo on my vfr. I also like the road 2 front but don't get any more miles out of the front over a power front so I save my self a few bucks on that.

Excellent Tire
I travel 150 miles a day on my zx6rr and these tires have held up very well, these are the 2ed set i have purchased. I am aggressive on downshifting and touching my rear brake in corners and I have only slid 2 times, one would be in the rain only like 1/16 of a mile in my trip so they weren't warmed up. And the other is over a steel manhole, but that is to be expected. I am very amazed these tires have lasted 20k miles and i probably could push another few thousand out of them but i don't like the idea of running on cords on the freeway doing 80+. I wouldn't think about buying different tires. Duel Compounds RULE!!!

Sticky Plus Good Mileage
I the Pilot Road 2 tires on front and rear of my 919. The front has about 6,500 miles on it and the rear has 5,000 (ran over something and destroyed my first PR2 rear). I commute to work during the week and hit the backroads quite hard almost every weekend. This tire wears well in the center and sticks great in the corners. Feels very stable and likes to fall into corners easily. I have 5,000 miles on the rear and expect to get at least another 2,500 from it.

Super milage, great stick!
I have had this tire on the rear of my 07 VFR for over 8,000 miles! I commute 400 miles a week on mostly freeways at 70 to 80 mph. The center is holding up very well. Hardly any squaring off. This tire also offers great cornering grip. I've gone canyon storming a couple of times wearing all the way to the edge of the tire without any issues. I have a second Pilot Road 2 sitting in the garage waiting for its turn on my bike. I can't think of any reason switch to another model, or brand. HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

Great tire for sport touring bikes
This is my 2nd Pilot Road 2 tire for my Breva 1100. My first Pilot Road 2 tire went about 8500 miles and would have gone another 1500+ miles if not for the puncture it suffered that prompted its replacement. I initially bought into the Pilot Road 2 based on reviews by others and now I know why many rave about this tire.
