Sticky and durable
Great tires. Very sticky, yet take a beating for 4K miles on average on my ZX10R.

You should always be riding on a dual compound!
Michelin delivers again with the pilot power 3. 55 sidewall makes turns more fun and this tire really benefits from the steeper angle, as it keeps even more wear off of the soft stuff.

You will notice a few things with this tire:
1) requires some heat to gain traction. It will spin pretty easily in the cold so keep it tidy until you've got some heat in them
2) when they start to wear in, you will see the line separating the compounds. this is good in my opinion, because it gives you a better idea of where the grip is. it does not affect anything regarding performance
3) this tire wears more evenly than any other tire ive seen. the hard compound in the center holds up amazingly well to lots and lots of straight up miles, and the sides will wear evenly if you use them spiritedly.
4) this tire WILL let you know when youre about to lose grip. they are very responsive tires and give plenty of feedback of whats happening on the road.

big thing is to watch your tire pressures and change accordingly, especially on a 55 sidewall. 2 psi makes a big difference.
