Great mileage tire
I have this tire on my 2011 Kawasaki Nomad 1700. I put this tire on 05/02/2013. As of today, I have just under 17,000 miles on it and I still don't think I am down to the warning tabs. It is hard for me to accurately define performance because I do a lot of highway miles but I have taken many a back road with twisties and have had no problems. The center is flat but it still appears to be handling ok. I really expect to get another couple 1000 miles out of it. If you do a lot of riding a year, this is the tire for you.

good tires
I wanted to wait until got a few miles on the Commanders until I decided how good I thought they are. I just completed my second long distance trip since installing these tires last fall. I can say with full confidence that these tires ride and handle as good as the original Dunlops that came on my 12 Road King. The bonus is, with over 3,000 miles on them, they show no signs of wear. I am expecting to get more miles out of the Michelins than from the original equipment tires..

I have ridden a few miles and have used many different donuts. This is the highest mileage tire I've ever used. It is on a 2012 Ultra and I have a little over 16,000. It's best days were at 15 K. The tire flattened out and tread profile became distorted and developed lumps on outside edge of tire after 15K Rain performance and handling were on par with other tires I have used. Lets face it all MC tires suck in rain but some are better than others. Tried to get another one but they are out of stock, went with Metzler 888, can't wait need to ride. We will see how it does.

Will buy again
Just replaced my Dunlop 407 with the Commander 2 on my 2013 Roadglide. Immediately noticed a better ride and handling. Performs well enough I will be replacing the front Dunlop with a commander 2 also in the near future.

You can't go wrong with this tire.
I have had 5 of these tires on my 08 FLTR an on my 2012 FLTRX and as soon as my stock tire goes bald I switch to this tire and I get about 20 to 21,000 miles on back tire and about 39 to 41,000 miles on front tire and I ride my bike.
I have 96,000 miles on my 2012 and had 110,000 miles on my 08. I have ridden in the rain a few times.
I live in CA.
I have purchase all my tires thru. Dennis Kirk and I have gotten them at a great price (lower than any other place).
Just picked up a new tire and will be mounting next week.

lots a miles
I ride everyday regardless of weather this tire has handled extremely well in all weather and I have about 24000 miles on it and just got to the 3/32 mark and am replacing it with another Commander II. I did have an issue with the outer edges of the tread feathering but I raised the tire pressure to 45 psi and it resolved this problem

IMHO The best touring tire out there
I've been running Commander II's for 4 years. Great tires. Handle great wet or dry and get 15-20,000 miles out of them.

great tire
had this same tire on my hd electraglide for 17,500 miles that's why I ordered another one from Dennis Kirk. Shipping was super fast and price was the lowest I found. This is a great high mileage tire that still has very good grip even in the rain. Definitely would recommend these tires.

Do you install and mount?
Treena H on Aug 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I had the front and rear tires mounted and spin balanced by my local Harley dealer. Word of warning after 7200 miles the front tire has already worn to 2/32" with plenty of tread on the rear tire 5/32". My riding history has been that the rear tire will wear out before the front tire. I maintained tire pressures at 36psi front and 40 psi rear. Michelin's claim that these tires wear twice as long as their competitors tires is BS. I am going back to running Avon's they always were a great tire.
Will these work with Harley Davidson laced wheels?
A shopper on Dec 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I think your best answer would come from the manufacturer of your wheel....I just know they are classified as a tubeless tire...and I think they are a great tire...handles great!!
