Way better milage
Just finished 3500 mile 75-80 mph interstate trip. (speed limit 75 in plains). LARGE load, like two up. According to dial caliper caculations I should get 11,000 miles out of this tire before I hit wear indicator. That is at least twice what I was getting out of Avon Roderiders rear!!! I even put it on with Rode Rider front which is a bias ply & noticed no difference in handling whatsoever in mountain roads. (including going to 14,400' to too of Pike's Peak. New triumph Bonnies come with a combination of bias & radial because that gave them best handling. So forget the old saying you can' t mix them safely.

MY NEW TIRE OF PREFERENCE
Excellent tire ( radial rear). MUCH MORE MILEAGE than the Avon Road Rider (bias- ply) I was using, which is the reason I switched. This is a good 8000 mi. tire for me. Using it with the Road Rider bias ply front at this time. Can detect no difference in handling even when pushed. Will switch to Pilot Street front when Road Rider front wears our if they have my size. My bike Honda 750 Nighthawk. Pilot Street Will be my tire from now on. Not enough wet riding to rate below so left blank, but sure it will be fine.
