I bought this tire last spring for my WR450f. I ride a lot of mixed terrain, but almost always get stuck riding long distances on dirt roads during my rides. I typically burn through 2-3 tires per summer. I bought this tire hoping it would hold up better on hard terrain. The tire made it through most of the riding season and I noticed no major handling differences in soft to moderate terrain, though it did tend to hold mud a bit more than I would like. You can expect this tire to last 50-75% longer than your traditional soft compound motocross tire. If you live on the track, this is not your tire. If you ride a lot of dirt roads and trails, this is the best tire for the money. I will be buying this tire again.
bought this for a restoration of a 1987 CR250R. it says its rated for on road use but it has relatively similar lug height to that of my newer mx bikes. Have ridden it around it it hooks right up even in wet grass. Seems like a pretty soft compound though. for a vintage bike it is more than enough and I am perfectly fine with it.
