These ultra heavy duty tubes are super thick! Upon opening the packaging and seeing how thick they were, i was slightly concerned they would be a bear to install (im a DIY guy). but to my surprise they were actually much easier to install than their thinner counterparts. Another added benefit to installation of the ultra heavy duty tubes is the resistance they have to pinch cuts during installation. Anyone who has installed tubes themselves knows exactly what im talking about. shoot a little air in the tube, spray it down with some windex, and go to town installing it. I have only ridden the bike 1 time (roughly 6 hours) since i put the tubes in due to weather, so i cant yet speak for longevity. But i ride hard through (and over) stuff i probably shouldn't every time i get on the bike. Lots of hard landings, lots of abusive terrain, lots of whiskey throttle, lots of wheelies, etc. and so far so good. i highly recommend the ultra thick tubes to the DIY guy who likes to do shit once and be done with it. If you are of the same mindset, go with the ultra thick tubes on your bike.
