Great Tire!!
Metzelers have always been a great tire. This one is no different. Replaced a Pirelli Diablo on my Buell and this one is lasting much longer and grip is at least as good!

Great ride
This is a great tire. Warmed up quickly and grip is amazing. Only have about 400 miles on them now and I'll make another review later.

Excellent Tires
I bought these tires in June 2012 and shortly after that I left St. Louis MO for the Smokey Mountains. I absolutely abused these tires on the Tail of the Dragon not once, not twice, but three times and absolutely loved how they stuck to the curves. I had zero worries while running through the mountains in North Carolina and Tennessee and even riding back into St. Louis where the temps were 105 degrees. I peeled these tires off in January of 2013 after 8,549 miles. The rear tire was bald but the front is just now hitting the wear marks. I always replace in two's but I know the front would safely hit 9,000. Great tire for my FJR and you'll love them too!

Great tires, Great value
I bought these Metzeler Sportec M3 tires for my Kawasaki 2008 ZX6R because they were cheaper than other sportbike/street tires in the same style. In total I payed about $210 and change for the rear (180/55ZR-17) and the front (120/65ZR-17). I only have about 500 miles on them so far but they are working very well on my bike - no issues. The ride is smooth and turning is smooth. I basically ride the bike to work and on the weekends whenever possible around town and on the highway, no track days - so I can't speak for their performance at their limits. Overall I'm happy.

lasts forever
I put 10,000 miles on my m3's this year on my 99 cbr 900rr. they probably have 1,000 more left in them no cords either on front or rear. they stick to the roads good also. i will use nothing but the m3 ever. price is good at around $100.00 also. all my riding buddys had to change there rear tires at 3,000 miles but not me. am putting on a new set before riding season. they last forever.

Great Tires for the Money
I have bought several different brands for my Buell Lightning and everything that I have bought before have worn out by 3000 Miles, I got 8000 out of my first set of these tires and love the value for the performance. I commute 50 miles each day to work rain or shine as long as there is not snow on the ground and above 40 degrees faranheit and these tires have done very well for me in all weather. I mainly run on flat straight roads 45-60 mph and have had no problems with them.

What is the total miles this tire will supply? I put on a ton of miles and wore out my Q Dunlops in 3000 miles
A shopper on Dec 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This can be very subjective. It really depends on what type of bike and what type of riding. On my big twin, I would see about 5-6k out of the rear. Front would be about double. On the smaller 600 4cyl I have seen 8000 miles. Although it's getting rather squared off at that point. These are more of a sport touring tire and you should get more mileage out of them than the Q Dunlops. I believe those are more sport oriented. I've been happy with these tires, as they provide plenty of grip and decent wear. Your mileage may vary. :)
is this the price for two tires?
