My Favorite Tires
I have always run Metzeler tires on my street bikes my whole life. I have tried several different models and recently last year purchased from Dennis Kirk at the lowest price the Metzeler Sportect M3 and have been in pressed with how quick the tire warms up and handle at high speeds. The Tire has given me confidence in leaning the bike over. I recently tired the tire in the rain and tired to at a cold start to break the tire lose and it didn't not saying it wouldn't in the wrong conditions. Tire definitely handles well in Wet and Dry conditions. I highly recommend this Tire!

Fast warmup great feedback
Have put almost 2000 on this tire and took about 1500 of spirited riding to finally show a slight flat spot. This tire warms up amazingly fast and will not have you second guessing yourself into/out of a corner ever again. Excellent traction in wet conditions as well! No more slipping and sliding just trying to leave a stoplight in rain. Will be buying this tire for as long as it will be made. Definetley recommend this tire great value, looks great, and performs like tires priced twice as high.

A Good Ride
Got some good miles on this tire. Good grip overall and the bike handled well on it. Good grip stopping when new. Not so good once worn down a bit.

What is the total miles this tire will supply? I put on a ton of miles and wore out my Q Dunlops in 3000 miles
A shopper on Dec 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This can be very subjective. It really depends on what type of bike and what type of riding. On my big twin, I would see about 5-6k out of the rear. Front would be about double. On the smaller 600 4cyl I have seen 8000 miles. Although it's getting rather squared off at that point. These are more of a sport touring tire and you should get more mileage out of them than the Q Dunlops. I believe those are more sport oriented. I've been happy with these tires, as they provide plenty of grip and decent wear. Your mileage may vary. :)
