Memphis Shades makes the best, in my opinion, windshield, and brackets. Made my bike so much nicer to ride, and more comfortable long term. I am actually thinking about trying the batwing fairing, next.
here in florida a windshield is a must with all the bugs. the mephis shade fit perfectly on my 2009 fxdc. the quick release hardware is great for taking it off on those non bug days. Dennis Kirk is the best when it comes to shipping.
Very nice windshield for the price. Easy to install with the Memphis Shades brackets. Total of 30 minutes for the entire installation. Now that it's on my bike I don't know how I road without it. Highway speeds are much more enjoyable now, I get no head wobble and best of all NO bugs slamming into my face!!! I'm 5'9" and with the Kawasaki Mean Streak stock seat I'm looking just under the top of the shield. With a Mustang Seat, I'm under the top of the shield by a couple inches.
I have had 2 of these now on two different bikes. I have fallen in love with the memphis fats. I installed this one on my 1400 intruder and couldnt be happier. Super easy install with the "Quick Change Design Fats/Slims Hardware Kit - MEM9908". Definitely a recommended item!
This is a very nice windshield though a little large for bikes with a 5 1/2 inch headlight. A tall windshield is what I need to push the wind over my head but looks to wide on my Sportster. Memsphis shades needs to make a Slims this tall with a 5 1/2 inch headlight cutout.
