I installed this fairing on a 2006 Triumph Bonneville. Although it's advertised as not fitting 1" handlebars, I decided to try. All I had to do was file a couple corners off each of the handlebar clamps, and it fit perfect. You do have to drill 4 locating holes for the hardware, but it's not hard to figure out. It looks great, and keeps a bit of the wind blast off of my chest.
I bought this for my 1985 K100 which lost its fairing, just to tidy up the front end and give me some protection from the wind. Note: It takes patience and skill to install this product, it is a custom installation. Aside from that, the fairing and screen are appropriately heavy plastic, the mounting hardware is rugged and logical, you get extra screws, washers and nuts, and the instructions are clear. Once mounted, the unit seems very rigid and safe, no movement at speed. At highway speeds it does clear air away from my chest and head, though the narrow screen means my shoulders get some buffeting they did not get before. Overall I am very satisfied.
