I was unable to find a proper set of cables in the fitment guide for my 2001 FLHR (non EFI) so I called DK customer service, was provided a part number after explaining the situation and placed the order. When the package arrived I knew immediately there was a problem as both cables were the same length. Let's see, a twin cam motor with the spark plugs about 11" apart both going to the coil. To say they were a pain to install is an understatement. Granted this is very likely an isolated issue with my model year but I can only write from my personal experience. In closing, if you can not find the cable for YOUR bike, stick with stock wires or use another vendor.
Really impressed with the appearance of the spark plug wires. They really look good and match the braided clutch and throttle cables. I have received a lot of compliments! The only problem I found with them was the fit was not that good. The ends are bent very hard to get onto the plugs, almost like they are going to break.
These wires look great.Unfortunately thats where it ended for me.If all your gonna do is look at the bike or show it off or put around town get em.If you actually ride,or are looking for performance, don't.No noticable improvement in HP/TRQ over stock(on the dyno either) and they caused intermittent codes to be thrown on the ECM on my bike.
