How do you remove the end caps that are currently on your bike? It's a tight fit.
Omar J on Sep 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This could be a tricky project. How I solve it was remove muffler from bike. On the tip where the caps are located is some set screws. The first screw is the one that locks the cap in. The second screw is what locks the baffle in. That the first screw out. Try twisting the cap off. If it doesn't move then you need to spray some 10W40 inside the cap on the inside and set muffler cap end down and let soak. After a couple hours try twisting the cap off again. Also using an oil wrench you can slip this over the end to end you leverage. The hardest part is holding the muffler still. Once removed take the new cap and apply some light oil over the end that slips into the muffle lining up the screw holes. Put the set screws back in place muffler back on bike.
