Excellent Upgrade

April 6, 2010

This is a far better foot peg than the original I had on the bike. It was easy to install, and is way more comfortable, especially with the retractable heel rest.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Not very useful item for me

December 15, 2009

I have these on my VTX1300C, they look like a great idea, they look pretty good on the bike, but I have to say, with 17,000 miles on the bike in two years, I have actually used these for about 20 miles total, they just don't make the ride any more comfortable for me. Also, there is quite a bit of hardware holding these things together, they came loose last summer and I had to put them back together, using a bunch of lock tite, they have been fine since. If you think you need them, they are exactly as advertised and decent quality, but don't expect too much.

I wouldn't recommend this item to a friend.

Decent, but switchblade is flimsy

October 15, 2009

I put these on my' 08 suzuki boulevard m50 with special adaptors. They are wider than stock pegs, and give you almost a floorboard feel. It also gives more room in the shift area, which takes getting used to, but also gives nice vibration dampening from the rubber. The switchblad part is really a waste- as soon as you bear any weight on it, it WILL shift and move the whole peg. I've even put red locktite on it... Kuryakyn products are decent, but take note: they use inferior screws/etc... which RUST, not stainless steel. Otherwise, a decent product.

I would recommend this item to a friend.
