I bought these as an inexpensive way to swap out my stock pegs. They are inexpensive, and do the job, so I can't complain too much. But beware, the rubber can wear out pretty quickly after installation depending on what kind of boots/shoes you wear. My normal riding boots have a pretty aggressive grip pattern on it and I rest my feet on the pegs where the heel meets the sole. When these were new the rubber wore down until it pretty much molded to that space. But the finish has held up and the rubber is replaceable so I'm not worried about it. The only other thing is since these are the smallest pegs offered, they were a bit short for my liking. I eventually ended up getting the 1 1/2 inch adapters and now I can stretch my legs a bit more and they don't feel as cramped. I'm 6' tall with forward control extensions already installed on my bike. The extra length really makes a difference in conjunction with these pegs.
As the title states, I bought the Dually ISO's, not the Retro ISO's, but this is what the site is having me review....so I'll proceed with the Dually review.
I have an 07 Yamaha Warrior. I wanted more than just a standard peg for my feet, yet didn't want the look of a massive floorboard as it doesn't flow with the bike's styling and lines. The Dually ISO was just the ticket. They give me more room for my feet without compromising looks. They are very comfortable as well.
The only "issue" (and it's really not an issue as much as just something I need to get use to) is that they scrape on harder turns, whereas my stock pegs did not. Again, this is not an issue with the product at all, but more a matter of me getting use to this.
Overall, it's a great product and I have no complaints. Cheers to Kurakyn for making a product that gives me the best of both worlds!
replaced front on my fatty freeway bar with these because they are bigger and makes more room for my feet to ride replaced the rear also for wife and grandchildren they all love the fact that more of your foot is on the peg
I bought the best and got the best. I have used these in the past on other bikes and was very pleased with them. They look good, work good , and fit good. The best products and the best finish out there, well worth the money.
