These adapters worked as advertised. They went on in minutes and worked perfectly. They finish has held up for almost a year now. Pricing with shipping lowest I found on the net. You'll be pleased with these on your bike.
It fits...Yaaay... The boomerang is listed with the Yamaha Raider and not the Stratoliner Roadliner which is what I wanted it for. Heard about the item through the Stratoliner chat group on Delphi. If it were not for the group I would never have heard of this item or Dennis Kirk for that matter. Package was delivered with a few days of the order. Awsome.
Does what they are intended to do. Fits perfectly. There was a bit of extra chroming residue on one of the ends that fits into the footpegs which caused a problem at first, but I took a small file and filed it away. After that it fit perfectly.
Had some Kuryakyn ISO pegs to replace the stock pegs on my GL1500. These adapters work perfectly. 10 minutes of wrench-turning and I'm enjoying ISO comfort. Make sure you install correctly. They also fit upside-down.
These adapter are made out of quality heavy gauge steel. The chrome plating is good and will hold up well. It came in the original packaging. No problems threading in the hardware for ISO pegs. Kuryakyn is one the best for cruiser parts. will not be disappointed.
You know... I wanted to save TWO FRIGGEN' BUCKS so I ordered a combo pack (pegs & fittings) from another on-line company. Well, they listed the part wrong. The end fittings didn't fit my bike. This turned out to be a hassle because of the return and the postage, time and effort. I ended up eating $20 and simply did what I should have done in the first place... order from Dennis Kirk!
Kuryakyn did an okay job with these however there are some minor issues. The hole which the pin fits through is slightly oversized and allows a fair amount of wobble in the peg. Including a sleeve or set of sleeves with different thickness walls would solve this issue. For my application on my 2011 Triumph Thunderbird Storm, I drilled and lathed a sleeve out of some nylon rod and got a nice fit and removed all the play. Overall I would recommend these as they are good quality and I love the options Kuryakyn product line!!!
I like the look and fit of the ISO pegs on my 2010 Stateline, but the mounting hardware for the adapters didn't fit at all. The spring washers are cheesey and low-quality, the bolts aren't long enough to go all the way through the pocket and get more than two or three turns onto the supplied nylock nut (it doesn't even reach the nylon), and although the paperwork says there's a packet of anti-seize in the package, it wasn't there. Rather than doing what should've been a quick and easy install immediately upon opening the package, I had to go to the hardware store the next day and get 2" stainless bolts and washers, and bring my anti-seize home from work.
Speaking of which... if you think you'll ever have a reason to remove these from your bike in the future, anti-seize upon installation is absolutely necessary to prevent the stainless bolts/nuts from galling together as soon as you start threading them apart. Once they gall, get ready to put some muscle into the job because you're going to have to either break the bolt or cut it off.
