I've only had these bags on the bike for a couple of weeks but so far I'm impressed. There are tons of pockets to store all the stuff that used to end up on the bottom of my other bags. A big thumbs up for the expandable feature. Somebody was thinking, because when expanded it will just barely fit a full face helmet!! The double zippers on top are a little awkward but I'm thinking I'll get used to them over time. I've changed the mounting a couple of times because I like them with smooth end to the back but then the points hit my seat and don't lay well. I may have to cut some of the middle section out to get them to slide back to where I want them. They fit perfectly with the smooth side forward but don't look as nice with those drink holders facing backwards. All in all they are great for money and if they last as long as my Kuryakyn Dresser bag I'll be thrilled.
These bags are real easy to put on+strap down. They aren't too big so they won't take away from the bike's profile+are made of good quality material. They integrate well with my Gran tour bag. Can't beat the price+free shipping!
Received these bags from Dennis Kirk in under a week (free shipping), Yea! First, they fit great on my bike. No small accomplishment given the limited space. Second, they are very roomy. I can put my 15 inch computer bag and papers on 1 side and use the others for tools and whatnot. Third, I ride a lot and have I've been through several different brands of bags and none have lasted more than a year. These fit the best (except for the triumph bags-too small), look the best, and hopefully will stand the test of time. I'll plan to report back
Also, I really like the utility of these bags, lots of pockets inside and the rain liner has already come in handy!
Nice size, sturdy bags with lots of pockets for storing. Very simple mounting that doesn't require special backets. Kuryakyn really thought of everything when they built these bags! They even come with rain-flys!! You won't find better bags for twice this price!
Great set of bags, not so Universal. I have a 2010 Honda Fury and the bags are just too big to fit between the passenger footpegs and the rear turn signals. I am presently looking into repositioning my passenger pegs (at additional cost) to see if I can make these bags work. A friend of mine has expressed interest in the bags and she might get them if I can't sort out this spacing problem.
These Bags are everything Kuryakyn claims and more. Good size and the expandable featue is very useful. They are very good quality and durable. Have used twice now on trips and no problems. Pockets for everything to organize your stuff for easy retrieval. Great product! thanks kuryakyn and Dennis Kirk I am very happy.
