Don't forget the fille pad.
This is a necessity when installing the Kyruakyn 8956 Tour Pak Relocation Kit. I kept the original OEM piece and mounted it underneath the new filler pad for added padding. If you do this you will need to replace the two 10x24x 1/2 pah head screws on the tour pak with 10x24 1 pan head screws to thak up the extra width using two pads. Well made product..

Filler Pad Works!
Works at it should. My trunk did not originally have a filler pad so I had to use 3M adhesive tape to attach it without drilling any holes. Has held well in the hot weather.

Fills gap
Fills the gap nicely that is left by moving the tour pac back, but needs to come with longer screws to mount. The ones that holds the original are to short, had to purchase new screws from the hardware store.

Filler Pad Filled the Gap
I had to install this filler pad after moving my tour pak back 2'' on my 2014 Harley Tri Glide Ultra. The original one was fine after moving tour pak back one inch, but was not adequate for moving it back any more. I did have trouble mounting it with the OEM screws. I had to cut one layer of leather away, just like the OEM pad, in order to get the nuts started, as the screws would not reach thru all those layers.

Great Product Except For...
I can highly recommend the pad except for mounting problems. The original Harley pad on my 2017 Tri Glide has a white plastic strip with two holes where screws go through the pad then through the Tour Pak. The screw heads are on the inside of the Tour Pak and acorn nuts are on the outside to secure the pad. The holes in the white plastic strip on the Harley pad are large enough for the screw, but the hole in the black vinyl is larger so the acorn nut will tighten against the white plastic strip. Everything is similar on the Kuryakyn pad, except the hole in the black vinyl and the white plastic strip are the same size causing the acorn nut to tighten directly against the soft black vinyl instead of the white plastic strip. The original screws are not long enough to start the threads of the acorn nut so I had to buy longer screws (or cut a larger hole in the black vinyl).
Hole in Kuryakyn pad is sized for the screw.
Original Harley pad has a larger hole in the vinyl for the acorn nut.
Original Harley detail showing larger hole for acorn nut.
Kuryakyn pad on top showing small hole through vinyl.

Good Buy
The pad hides the cables, but like others have said the original screws are too short and I had to buy new ones.

Great option.
The product is wonderful. The only issue I had was the instructions said to use original hardware to install. The original screws were not long enough to go through the new pad.

I sure need this now as I've used the 8956 relocator on a 15 Triglide. What are the dimensions of this? Don't want to order the wrong item.
