I installed this on a 2010 H-D ROADGLIDE,the install took about 45 min. most of that time is spent removing the tank and seat,to route the wireing. The sound is many times as loud as the stock unit. The finish of the horn is a little on the cheap side it being plastic chrome, but the sound is what I bought it for and it works very well.I would recomend it,and the price is right.
The Kuryakyn horn pictured here is probably not a Kuryakyn product, meaning designed and made by them, but its not too bad. The horn housing is plastic and the compressor is chromed metal. The horn is heavy and is loud with a dual note tone. The installation requires removing the seat and connecting the unit to the battery and placing a relay in a protected place under your seat. The wiring harness is straight forward and you will ned to route the wires under the tank and into the battery compartment, making sure you keep the wires away from the cylinder heads and exhaust pipes.
Aside from the plastic horns, this is an average product, but not up to Kuryakyn's quality.
The horn is loud and extremely easy to install. I have a 2009 Road King and the wife a 2011 Street Glide. The instructions could not have been easier to follow and did not need to modify any stock wiring arrangements. Could reinstall oem horn if needed quite easily. The horn will garner attention when needed.
I have a 2007 Road King Classic and never liked the stock cowbell horn and it's wimpy sound. The WoLo horn was easy to install most of the time is spent removing the seat. I didn't have to remove the tank found alternate paths for the wires. It is an attention getter, loud and aggressive. I would recommend the horn cover for dressing.
So I have only had two stock Harley horns and the most recent one was loud enough to hear it while riding the bike; doubt anyone else could hear it. So I bought this monster and I am glad I did. While not expecting the relay and other wiring, the instructions were sufficient to make it work on the first try. I took them up on their recommendation to "electrical tape" the relay to keep the water out of it. I used self vulcanizing tape, great stuff. Horn is LOUD yet not TOO LOUD. Recommend it. Bike is Electra Glide. Instructions said I would have to rotate the horn to clear the choke but I was able to mount it vertically with no problem.
Exactly what I was looking for and what was advertised. Much better sounding horn which goes with a Harley, unlike the stock "Roadrunner" sounding horn. I mounted it on the front of my Rocker C, in place of the stock horn. Easy install, just had to run a wire to the frame(ground) and one to the battery. It came with the relay, and an in-line fuse, so I just had to supply a 5 ft. long wire to run to the battery. I love it, it looks bad to the bone, was fairly easy to install and sounds GREAT! A++++++ I recommend it.
I just finished painting this, had it on my 2015 CVO Street Glide for a few weeks in chrome but decided to paint it gloss black and wrinkle black combo, it looks awesome, too bad they don't make one already blacked out. The horn itself works awesome, very loud and gets attention which considering most of these monkeys driving cages here in H-town are oblivious to everything around them, is a good thing!
I can't tell you how many of these horns I have purchased over the years. They're easy to install and sound great. They just don't last. I've had one stolen off of my bike and a total of 6 between 3 previous Harley bikes. They end up shaking apart. If you can find another place to mount it than using the stock Cowbell location I'd suggest that. I have one on my wife's Honda VTX1300C for the past 6 years and no problems. Still works great. It reminds me of an Amtrak air horn.
I'm very happy with the installation of the Wolo Bad Boy Air Horn Kit. All the required materials came with the kit.
The instructions are better than most instructions you'll come across and these are correct; but, you do have to read carefully to understand the instructions.
I still haven't had to use the horn on the road, but I am satisfied with this product so far.
BEST ANSWER:It's louder than any stock horn I've heard but it's not as loud as the expensive dual trumpet, large air cylinder horns. It's a higher tone than those expensive horns, too. If you can mount a Wolo dual trumpet, I'd get that. If not, this will do.

I like the hell out of this horn, it louder than a stock horn, and I would buy it again or if ever changed bikes, you can hear it much better over my short pipes
BEST ANSWER:I had my last one for 5 yrs, without any problems. again I lock tight everything too. It finally died and I just bought the new one hooked directly to the old wires took me 10 mins to put it in. Loud enough that cars move over when I honk it. nice and loud. Hope this helps.

It surprised me, I guess I bought about a year ago, and install it myself, at first I check it a lot and it wasn't loose and still works great, the sounds cool, I guess it's been 10,000 miles or more
