The switch fits my 1999 Honda Fourtrax 300 perfectly, but the "off" position is allowing 12V of power to pass through certain circuits. The "on" position powers the ignition and allows the ATV to start, but turns off what was being powered when the switch is in the "off" position. I purchased a switch from Amazon for $13 that did exactly the same thing. I needed to replace the original Honda ignition switch because it would freeze in cold weather not allowing me to use it. Now I'm using the original Honda ignition switch again (which works perfectly, other than the freezing issue) but I need to keep the ATV inside. My problem has not been resolved.
