Perfect replacement for mini turn signals, but can't be installed without disassembling the indicator. Unscrew the threaded base and push up on the bulb holder with a small screwdriver. This causes the bulb holder to pop out for easy service. Reverse procedure to reassemble.
Had one bulb burn out in my mini stocks in I'm guessing 1 month before I noticed it. To the previous poster that could not get the bulb out.
1. Remove 2 screws holding on lens. 2. Remove reflective concave piece. (If bulb is in the way, push tip of bulb in to achieve more room-See 3) 3. The bulb and base housing are sleeved into the chassis of the mini stock. If you push the wires toward the bulb, or gently insert a screw driver, you can get the entire bulb assembly to slide out of the mini stock chassis for changing.
*I don't work for K&S. My first product for them. They get the job done at the right price. Could not find these bulbs at local auto parts store, nor know the part name. 12V/23W amber.
I really cant speak to the bulbs, because I couldnt get them in. I had the clear bezel mini stalk turn signals that use these amber bulbs and the signals are so small that the bulbs cannot be installed. I couldnt do it so I brought them to a shop and amazingly enough they couldnt get them in either. I was forced to return these bulbs and order new turn signals.
The bulb was fine it's he customer service that I have an issue with. when you return an item apparently we have to pay for shipping and don't receive a cent back for a product that I didn't use I basically paid Dennis Kirk to send it back to Dennis Kirk. They actually said I owe them to send them back a product that I didn't use.
