Great fit. Fast shipping. I will probably get the 14 tooth as well for my gs500. Still can't get the front wheel up with the 15 tooth in 3rd.

RPM Drop
The sprocket was of great quality. It installed easily. Didn't drop RPM as much as I had hoped. Did not really effect acceleration.

I ordered this to see if it would give me a few less RPM on the highway and it did just that I would recommend this mod and sprocket to every one with a ninja 250r

Nice on a ninja 2550
This is the gearing that the ninja 250 should have shipped with. It makes all of the gears more usable and you don't even have to replace the chain. Great buy

15t GS500e sprocket
This inexpensive mod makes a noticeable improvement in acceleration over stock. Change in fuel economy is negligeable. Highly recommended!

ninja 250 16 tooth sprocket
The service from dinniskirk is phenomenal. I received the part very quickly. The sprocket itself is excellent. The only modification needed to fit the sprocket was to cut the lip off of the dust cover. Doing this does not affect the bike at all, it just allows for the larger sprocket to travel freely. Also, there is no need for a longer chain or smaller rear sprocket in order to fit the chain around the sprocket, there was plenty of play in the adjustment screws on the rear axle to move the rear sprocket forward. All in all, I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone who rides highways a lot.

Sprocket
Purchased for my 2007 Ninja 250 to replace stock 14T. The best upgrade I've made to my bike thus far, absolutely superb! Provides a more natural gearing and lowers highway speed revs by about 600-700. Highly recommended!

JT 15T Front Sprocket for 2009 KLX250SF
I purchased this JT 15t sprocket for my supermoto because I ride on the interstate from time to time and the 14t stock sprocket was making my engine rpm pretty high at 70 mph. I went from around 8000 rpm at 70 mph to 7000 rpm at 70 mph... It also makes it a more enjoyable street ride at lower speeds with less shifting. For passing on the highway, it has enough power to do it in 6th gear but I recommend dropping to 5th gear to pass. My bike is still stock though and exhaust and jet kit should fix that problem. I also had to grind the stock metal chain case protector to make sure the chain didn't rub which is why I gave it 4 out 5. If you ride your supermoto mostly on the street then I highly recommend this sprocket..

15T +1 sproket = WOW
I went up 1 tooth (from 14 to 15) on my 250 Eliminator, and WOW!! Now 1st-3rd are now useable and I can keep up with 70mph traffic without screeming the engine. The EL 250 has a shorter primary drive ratio than the Ninja 250 and top speed was limited to 86 or so mph, now roll on from 65 takes 4 sec to reach that speed, and it's still pulling. And acceleration is quicker. As for 4 stars for style.....it's a sproket.
