Quality Sprocket
Can't speak for longevity, but if it holds up, can't beat it for the price.

I got this 15 tooth front sprocket for my Marauder 800. It was a perfect fit and installed easily. The machining and finish is very good quality.

..... on a 82' KZ 550
Seams to be a strong, solid sprocket. I bought an 18T to replace my 16T OEM. The results were surprising. I had to take off the guard around it so the 530 chain would fit but it was worth it. I get better gas mileage and higher speeds at lower rpm. 5900rpm is about 75mph.

Perfect Fit
I purchased thisy up replace my OEM sprocket. I went from 15 teeth to 14 and I t made a huge difference in off the line performance. The I original piece has a rubber cushion that quiets the chain a bit, but to be honest I can't really hear the difference. Definitely worth the price.

I want to have good bottom end torque but don't want to lose top end speed. What's a good sprocket combination ?
Richard N on Oct 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately you can't improve one without sacrificing the other by re-gearing. A smaller front sprocket or larger rear sprocket will increase bottom end torque but lose top speed. A larger front sprocket or smaller rear sprocket will increase top speed but lose bottom end torque. Changing front sprocket size has more affect on drive ratio than changing the rear. Divide rear sprocket teeth by front sprocket teeth to figure out your ratio. (30 teeth / 10 teeth= 3:1 ratio) The higher the ratio, the more torque you will feel, but lose top speed. Without knowing what size bike it is and what kind of riding you're doing it's hard to make a suggestion.
