Spent a week reviewing several other brands for a high quality & good looking mesh jacket w/ CE armor for hot weather riding. Finally found one. This jacket has the perfect combination of high quality, function, fit, and good looks. Other brands I saw would meet 3 of the previous categories, but unfortunately not all 4. They would either look great and function & quality will be somewhat satisfactory, or vice versa. This jacket is built outstanding, fits great, flows air very well, and looks pretty impressive. I get compliments on it from other riders all the time. The removable waterproof liner is a plus when it's raining or for use in cool weather riding.
I have owned this jacket for about two years now and it is still a great buy. Wonderful in the fall and summer. If you have velcro gloves keep them away from the mesh or it will fray and take away from the great look this jacket was meant to have. The additional captions on the jacket really makes you stand out to other drivers and helps in you being noticed on the road. I have the grey and white and believe me it does just what it was intended to do. I like mine and I'm sure you will like yours too. I bout mine in TX for a very reasonable price.
The air flow mesh allows u to bike ride with a stylish jacket and feel comfort of the air flow and the heat in south Louisiana u need as much air as u can get plus u have the protection we needed... But have not used the water prof liner
Decent jacket, but there are more better for the $
Jacket runs large in the shoulders, but short in the body - it's oddly shaped in my opinion. The arms are different circumferences in the upper arm - i use different adjusting snaps on the left and right...my arms measure the same.
The stitching is sloppy but passable - loose strings abound on the example I received.
Airflow is obviously fantastic (it's a mesh jacket...), but the zippers are flakey. They fail to line up right on the first try 50% of the time.
The jacket looks fantastic style wise, and the sponsor patches are cool, but for the money, something that felt a little less "cheap" would have been nice.
