I bought this color so people could see me better. It is bright but people still don't watch out for you. I don't think some people would see you if you wore a neon sign. The jacket fits good, is warm with the liner in at about 50 deg and comfortable with the liner out at about 90 deg as long as the vents are open and you are moving. The zippers for the vents are kinda hard to zip but I think after a little more use they will loosen up. I have friends that have spent a lot more money on jackets that weren't as nice.
I'm 5'9 and 185 with 45" chest. XL is good for the three seasons where the weather is down to 35 degrees F when you don't mind waering a sweatshirt/sweater fo some type. The Large will fit me but when I wear more than a plain shirt under neath the jacket on semi-cool mornings, like a crew sweater, the Large is snug on the chest and arms. Take out the liner and its a little better. Overall, since I ride in pretty much everything but the white stuff an XL is what I recommend but if your looking for a form fit the Large is true to size for me. I commute with it 70 miles five days/week. It's waterproof so long as the zippers are completely closed. For summer zip the lining out and open the vents on biceps, chest and back. Gets plenty cool unless of course its 90 degrees with 100% humidity. Then you're bumming anyway. I consider the jacket a four season jacket. My riding experience with the color is this...I immediatley noticed that if you go a little slower than the traffic around you, say do 60 mph when its 65 mph, people will not get close to you nor tailgate. The yellow green gets annoying my wife said when she was following me. At night the shoulders seemingly glow a bit and the reflective portions on the sleeves and the back are high quality. I never feel like I am invisible to other drivers. That said, when I drive the equivalent speed of others on the highway or even faster, I noticed a difference when compared to riding with my black leathers. People will try to pass at all cost wearing this jacket. I think, like my wife said, the yellow green gets annoying. If you're gonna get one the armor, waterproofing and visibility are Great. I do recommend the jacket to anyone looking for a bit more visibility but also recommend reflective tape on the wheels your bike and maybe the Gmax gm78s or gm54s with the brake light up grade too. Enjoy! Be Safe. Blessings on Everyone.
