Completely changes riding
More comfortable than keeping the knees bent on floorboards. Never expected to use the same stock bolts, had to go out and buy shorter bolts for the shift side. On the second day of riding with them, the shifter peg was coming loose and almost fell off. Had to re-torque it with some loc-tite. The screws on the controls are already rusting. Too bad they're the only company that sells forward controls for the VN2000.

Good Deal
Greatly improved stock foot position. Not compatible with highway bars. Initially felt flimsy and poorly built. One year later and still holding up great. Bolts rusty but Jardin Forward Controls in great shape and perform great. Easy to install, despite unintelligible Jap instructions. Very Happy, just wish they felt more solid/better built. Overall, pricey... yes, but worth it.

Definitely Not Worth The Price
Bought a set of these for my 2007 Honda Sabre awhile ago.Seeing that the selection for my particular bike is VERY limited I took a shot.Believing that price may be in line with quality I figured this would be a good buy.WRONG!First off if you follow the instructions to reuse the existing OEM bolts you can't.The outer chrome covers do not allow for this and you have to loosen these parts to manuever the parts down in order to fit the hardware in and to be able to get a socket on them. This was the case for both sides. When I did finally get both sides mounted on the bike I took it out for a test run and discovered something else-the shifter arm was not returning to a place to allow you to shift to a higher gear.I had to physically move the shifter down with my foot to be able to shift. Not exactly the quality or performance one would expect for close to $700.Needless to say the kit was removed from the bike and returned. This kit may work wonders on another bike but was definitely not made to do so on mine!
