Great dual sport tire!
I was looking for a good dual sport tire to replace the original front tire on my 1982 Yamaha XT200. After a little research, I found that very few were D.O.T. approved like the IRC. The tire mounted and balanced easily and is perfect for both on and off road, just a little dicey in soft sand.

Great Dual Sport Tire:
I shopped around for replacement tires for my 1982 Yamaha XT200J and needed a DOT approved dual sport tire since the bike is registered and I do ride both on and off road. The IRC GP-1 offers excellent traction on both wet and dry pavement, and is great handling off road as well. The tires are made in Japan, and were manufactured just one month prior to delivery which is important.

Tires and tubes
Got me fast and nice tires. Went on a little stiff but probably the case on any dirt bike tire.

Recommended.

great tires
This is my fourth set of IRC GP-1s, and they do exactly what I need -- grippy for street riding, holding their own for off-road. Their rubber is softer than the Kenda K270s with the identical tread pattern. If you ride more street than dirt but need a tire that does both well, this is the one.

Great Tires At A Great Price
I needed a new tires for my 1998 Suzuki DR350 and did quite a lot of online and local store research before I decided to go with the IRC's. I wanted something that was good for 80% road use and 20% off road at an economical price and they fit the bill. I bought them from Dennis Kirk as they had the best prices. So far I am very happy with them, they give good grip on road surfaces and also did well in the dirt and mud at my local ATV park. Time will tell on overall wear, but I really like them so far.

A great choice for true 50/50 Dual Sport Riding.
They are a fine compromise for all surfaces, when you employ some common sense. Meaning, of course, you have to ride within the limits of the road, machine and conditions. With that said, I have never had the front end washout on me…ever...street or dirt. They also wear evenly and last well for me. So, I don’t foresee myself trying another brand.

Good Value Tire
I put a similar tire on my 1998 Suzuki DR350 and liked it so I put one on my 2001 Suzuki DRZ400S as I wanted something less aggressive than the Dunlop D606 that was on it. So far the tire works well, time will tell how it lasts.
