So far these boots have been all that I thought that would be. I wore them to work to break them in, but they already felt comfortable from the start. Not only are they comfortable but I received several compliments on how they looked. I was looking for brown boots (just not into the everything must be black motorcycle scene) and these fit the bill.
These boots match sneaker sizing much better than most other brands. The lacing retains well, and the buckle hold firmly. When you're on the bike, they feel great. If you're previous footwear was regular shoes/boots, be careful as the rigidity of the toe section makes it harder to feel the shifter when you engage it. That passes with time and use.
Only real negative, is that for a boot recommended as being able to be worn around all day walking, the upper collar does bite into your calf, even if loosened fully. You don't feel this problem when you're riding though.
Wore Them Everyday After I Got Them To Break Them In. But Anytime I Went For A Scoot Off Came The Boots And I Slid Into Mt Tatical Boots.Protection Wise Them Seem Fine. I've Been Sking Over 40 Years And Never Had A Set Of Boots Take So Long To Break In. I Ride Alot. Tad Over 13,000 Miles On My Stryker In Last 6 Months. Granted I Wore Them The Last 2 Days Out But That Was Only For A Short 3 Hour Scoot. Off They Come Soon As I Get Back. They Are HEAVY. Those Little Nubs On The Toe Box Might Look Nice But I Would Rather Not Have The. Temp Wise It Was Tween 30-40 Last 2 Times Out And I Can Just Feel The Chill Coming In The Gap Of The Overlap. Have Already Ordered A Pair Of 8" GTX Lowa's To Ride In The Winter. Not Sure If I'll Keep These Or Donate Them. That Being Said I Must Admit I Have Been Riding For 40 Plus Years And These Were My First Dedicated Pair Of Scooter Boots,
