Boot runs a bit small so order a 1/2 size bigger. Great support in the ankles and arch. A bit heavy but you feel the protection this boot gives. Rode in cold weather, about 25, for about 2 hours and my feet never got cold. Great style. Pricing is the same everywhere I looked but I know delivery from dennis kirk is 3 days to my house and no additional shipping charges. Boots broke in in 3 days of all day wearing and now fit like a glove. I would have preferred a little larger but these will work fine
This was my first and only pair of motorcycle boots so far. I've had these now for four years and they are still great after many long and short trips (1 cross country trek and one east coast and back). An excellent fit for my size 12 and 'extra wide at the top of my foot' fit. Despite having big feet, unlike other boots and footwear, I don't feel like I'm wearing "snowshoes" - they are fairly compact yet still meet my needs, warm on cool-cold days, dry during some of the heaviest rains I've ever been in and stable when I put my foot down, no slipping. And on warm days, my feet aren't boiling or sweating. The only negative I have is that after the first season, one of the lace hooks or eyes tore which affects the speed lacing feature. Each season a new eye / hook has torn - four now on one boot, two on the other. I plan to see if I can get them repaired because the boot and the 2 quick snaps are still in good shape. The boot is still functional but I cannot lace these up too snug anymore and I worry this will affect the water proof feature.
The size was true but if you have a bigger ankle, it will be difficult to get in as well as getting them off. Decided to cut the hidden lace for easier slip-in. Just pray the straps don't fail on me. Once in, it is comfortable but could do with a higher heel...found it too "flat". The sole doesn't seem solid to last as it seems soft....only time will tell. Overall, it's ok but feel it's a little pricey.
