Overview of Icon Black Accelerant Boots - 3403-0782
Hightop for top speed, the Accelerant boot is a technical sport boot that blurs the line between performance and casual. Leather chassis, D3O® ankle impact protector, TPU™ heel and toe box, and axialmetric steel shank are all business. Athletic bottom unit, streamline upper, and ankle height say cool runnings. On lock and up on the rear, the Accelerant plays by its own rules.

I've owned a handful of short boots for summer riding over the years and so far these are the only ones I almost returned (I'm stubborn I guess). So I rode up to rush city a week two weeks ago to buy a replacement for my beat to hell and back Joe Rocket summer boots. I settled on Icon because I own the Elsinore boots and they have been awesome over the past 5 years. These are great boots also but with "issues" that a price point shouldn't have. They look great and have good armor and a stiff sole that will help prevent injuries. The "issues" I have are all the fasteners were loose (ankle sliders, strap anchor screws), the left boot I got has the footbed tilted outboard enough that you can feel your ankle bent as you walk or stand on pegs, Both boots midsole straps are almost useless as the adjustments are as tight as they go and the strap is barley snug, and the rear zipper is too heavy with the little leather tab and clicks as you walk. Already I loctited all the fasteners, replaced the insoles (used the stock one cut up to even out the tilted left footbed). I taped the midsole strap at its smallest setting so it will stop opening up everytime I put the boots on. And I cut off the zipper pull and replaced it with a small nylon fabric pull from Aerostich to stop the annoying clicking. Pretty pathetic huh...."American designed" I'm not even sure they do that here anymore with this many mistakes
