I bought these because the wife wanted longer gloves and for the price I ordered us both a pair. For her I ordered 1 size too big. They have a decent fit but the fingers are long on her. For me I ordered 2 sizes too big because the reviews say they run small and I like the option of putting on a liner when it's cold. They're snug so unless they break in a lot, no liner with these. I just couldn't convince myself to order 3X. On a 1.5 hour ride home when it was below 40 the last 45 minutes our hands still got cold but I think we were under dressed. I gave them 4-stars because for $20 what can you expect?
I've been looking at Bike Rallies, Catalogs and found these to be the Best-Priced, Quality Gloves I've found! I found others that were too high-priced for the quality that they were, I got these in black, good quilting, keeps the bite off on those cold days you can't get away from, and they come with the rain covers, can't beat that, not at this price! I have large hands so went with the Extra Large size and they're a great fit!
I LIKED HE SOFT LEATHER AND PRETTY FLEXABLE FOR A LINED GLOVE.I AM RETURNIING MY PAIR FOR A LARGER SIZE , AS THEY RUN A LITTLE SMALL, . ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT TO PUT A HAND WARMER IN YOUR GLOVE ON THOSE BITTER COLD RIDES.
These gloves fit very well. They are soft and flexible, they have expansion ribs along the back of the hand and the fingers are made with a slight curve built in. I could wear them all day... and they even come with a pocket on the gauntlet for the rain cover. One great pair of gloves for the money!!
Bought XL and probably needed XXL so they are a bit tight on me. My hand got tired on the throttle due to the tight fit. Sealed my jacket sleeve nicely. Good for the price but buy larger than your assumed size.
I bought these gloves for cold weather riding. The first time I used them it was only 36 degrees out and my bike doesn't have a fairing. They didn't keep my fingers toasty but they did a pretty fair job. They're soft and flexible, not bulky. I had no problem working the controls. The cuffs fit snugly over my jacket and kept the wind out. I wear a large and although several of the comments said these run small I bought large and they fit perfectly. I bought them on sale and have no complaints.
These gloves fit me well and are supple enough to allow the use of all controls on my bike with no problem. The gauntlets are long enough to cover my coat sleeves and seal the wind out while riding and the lining is warm at 40 degrees anyway. The mitten style rain covers included in a pocket in the gauntlet of the gloves is a nice touch but did not fit over the 2x gloves. Even though the rain covers did not fit, these gloves still seem to be a good value.
Staple item, but too expensive & don't expect much
I had a pair of these gloves for a couple of years, and they have always been good for cool weather (not COLD). They held up well, and the only reason I needed to replace them was because I lost one glove in the pair.
UNFORTUNATELY... Hot Leathers has cheapened these gloves GREATLY since I bought my first pair a couple of years ago. The lining is no longer the fleece, soft and somewhat warm material it used to be, but instead a cheap-feeling foamy material. Also, the gloves now run VERY SMALL. I had a size XL a couple of years ago, and for me to get the same fit I had to go all the way to XXXL, wasting extra money shipping the gloves back twice, to get a bigger size.
I do expect these gloves to hold up fairly well, and consider them to be a staple item in my collection of riding gear... But they cost more than they should, considering they are cheaply made and come from China... And they are not as good as they were a couple of years ago.
The leather is very soft and thin, defeats the purpose of why one would buy a riding glove(protection). Ither than that, they are comfortable and a good price, good deal for keeping hands warm but useless for keeping hands protected.
Looked nice at first glance. Noticed some lighter colored leather at the seams. Left hand insulation seemed sewed twisted at thumb a bit. Put them on to actually use them and the leather seam opened at the gauntlet. The leather is thin, and useless should you have an accident. These should not be considered motorcycle gloves. I am returning them.
