I have to say it was the fastest shipping I have ever had. Love the warmers, they are great, alot of the times I wear them for the look of a boot and the great thing is if you get to warm you can take them off,I am not really a chap girl and the warmers are the best! They fit true to size and customer service was great when I called with a ? Great Job Dennis Kirk !
I purchased these leg warmers for my wife, since she has burned her leg twice on my V-Star 1100 Silverado muffller. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised: the leg warmers were better than I anticipated. They are of substantial thickness for protection, are easy to put on and take off, and are stylish ( every woman's primary criteria.) They are much less cumbersome than her chaps, and cooler on short rides. My wife is happy with my purchase. These leg warmers were about 20% cheaper that the same ones I almost bought over the internet. I have previously purchased several products from Dennis Kirk, and have never been disappointed.
I love the look, I love that they are less cumbersome than chaps, and so easy to put on and take off! I wear them with my capris on very hot days, so I can easily take them off when we get to where we are going and just change into my sandals and I'm good to go! The only complaint I have is that the back straps behind my knees did not tighten up enough to fit my legs. I had them tightened up to the very end of the velcro so they were barely holding and they were still too loose, they kept sliding down...very annoying. Maybe because my legs are so thin! But I remedied the problem...I sewed on some more velcro inside in the middle of the strap where it had none, I cut the excess off the ends, stitched the ends (where I cut them) for a finished look and that did the trick!! The very first time I wore them I got a lot of compliments and people were asking me where I bought them. Can I say it again?... I love them!!!!
I love the leather leg warmers, so much so that I showed one of my friends and she got herself a pair and two more are thinking strongly about it too. great to deflect the bugs yet not too hot or a pain to unbuckle when needing the 'facilities' if you know what I mean.
When I bought a pair of these there wasn't a review that offered sizing advice... here it is: The two smaller sizes are suitable for women or short men. If you are male and six feet tall or over... get the largest size offered. I ordered a pair in Md/Lg to protect lower legs on my no fairing softail and ended up giving them to the spousal unit because they were just too small. I'm six feet and 195 lbs.
