Gears Gen X-4 Heated Glove Liners - 100318-1-XS/S
  • Comfortable 85/15% polyester/Lycra® liners fit snugly under existing windproof and waterproof gloves or mitts
  • Elements heat entire length of each finger and thumb
  • Connect to 12V power source; provide 27W of heat and draw 2.2A
  • For use with GEN X-4 Warm Tek heated jacket liner (part number 34-37276 s-xxl mens or 34-37277 xs-l womens): no additional hook-ups are required; simply plug directly into the plugs hidden in sleeve ends
  • For use with GEN X-4 heated vest (part number 34-37278 xs-xxxl): purchase snap on/off glove harnesses (PART #20-00591)
  • For independent use: purchase Y glove harness (PART #20-00591) and coax plug battery cord (PART #20-00584)
  • Use of a temperature controller (PART #s 20-00582 or 20-00583) is recommended

NOTE: GEN X-3 and GEN X-4 are fully compatible.  

Sizing: Measure inches around the widest part of your hand (Just below the knuckles). Use your dominant hand to check your glove size.

Note: Gears Temperature Controller recommended to avoid overheating.

How do these get power?

BEST ANSWER: Ideally you would have a heated jacket with a plug at the end of each sleeve designed to connect the gloves. I suppose you could run cables up the sleeves of a regular jacket and down through your coat to the battery, but that would be a bit awkward. Hope this helps.
