2017 Harley-Davidson FLSS

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To make it looks exactly as it does now.

What motivated you to start your project?

I knew what I wanted it to look like after seeing pics on the interweb of other peoples builds. I loved the old “50’s” style of the Softail Slim with the fat forks and fat tires. So I went with the FLSS (Screamin’ Eagle 110)

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The fairing really changed the look but I’d have to say the fenders really changed it up and made it look bigger. Plus I can ride on wet roads and not be soaked from the knees down immediately. Also not throwing a 30′ rooster tail in the rain and pissing everybody off that’s riding behind me is a plus.

What are you most proud of?

The whole package. The apes, fairing, fenders, seat and 150 rear tire really looks good on it.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

My Brothers always tell me that I could’ve just bought a Street Glide instead of building one. They all say how good it looks now though since it’s finished. Everybody likes it blacked/murdered out.
