2013 Harley Davidson Sportster 48

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Take advantage of interchangeability of HD and troop parts to Incorporate classic design features of WLA and VL , to transform the 48 into a overpowered retro rocket

What motivated you to start your project?

The 48 sportster is a powerful rocket and nimble but has a very uncomfortable riding position for my build . I wanted it to be comfortable like the old shovel

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Fab of a part to create a seat t bar pivot over the tank , to allow a tractor seat set up with a
Mini shock to emulate the pogo stick , very comfy made from 6” 90 degree steel elbow . The t bar shock set up is no longer made in  The US , I finally found one is Spain

What are you most proud of?

Knuckle head luggage rack  and saddlebags set off the clear coat knuckle head fenders

Very well executed and tasteful build.
The sportster base keep the build at a more balance size unlike modern harley touring line.
Re-creation of authentic details set this bike apart.
