2010 Harley Davidson Iron 883

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted to create a bobber Iron 883. I did research on Sportster bobbers before purchasing the bike. When I purchased the bike and started modifying it and didnt reference other bike builds so I could try and make it as much of my own style as possible.

I own a tattoo shop called Articulit Tattoo. I wanted to build a “shop bike” to ride to work and advertise the business with. I always thought it would be cool to have a side gig rebuilding motorcycles I get for cheap, adding custom paint jobs to them as well, then showing/selling. This is the first go at this…minus the selling part.

What motivated you to start your project?

I wanted to modify a sportster and I always loved the general look of the Iron 883s.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I did a custom painted tank and derby cover. Both were the original tank and derby cover but I sanded them down to the bare metal then painted them.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud of how cohesive the build turned out and how many looks it gets while riding around.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

It is unique and eye catching.
