2004 Honda Rebel

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To create something different, impractical, and bare bones that makes people stop and say; That’s a Honda?!

What motivated you to start your project?

Age. 30 years ago I was into cars, but never followed thru and got what I wanted, raised kids instead. Finally I realized it was about time I followed the dream, I still had the itch to build a vehicle, I had just moved onto motorcycles

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Fake oil tank that holds the electronics, and the fill spout that serves as the ignition switch.

What are you most proud of?

The choke lever. I got rid of as much of the bars that I could, but still needed (wanted) the choke. I dissected the stock switch box, removed the lever, shortened the cable and built a mount for it under the gas tank.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

That’s awesome!
It’s cool that you used a Honda.
WTF is that?
Like the “fuel gauge”
