2003 Special construction Goliath

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Ride what I built from parts the way I wanted it to go.  See how difficult it was and see who I could partner with in a business.

What motivated you to start your project?

Wanted a balanced bike with a big rear tire.  Did not make sense to buy something and tear it down. So a ground up project was the plan.  Being an Engineer in the motor vehicle sector (Bosch), I was also toying with the Idea of getting into custom builds as a business till bottom dropped out

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Paint, and stretch on the tanks.  I also fabricated interior parts from scratch that I thought functioned or looked better like closing up the back tire to engine compartment with some stainless.

What are you most proud of?

When somewhere someone says, Who Built that and I say Me.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Wow,    How many layers of paint are there?  What is HP rating,  how long does it take to clean

Looks clean. That’s what makes a nice build. Not all that over the top or ridiculous shit that some of these builds have. Nice color BTW !
