It started as a simple idea to chop the frame and weld in a hard trail. The more I worked on it the farther down the rabbit hole I got. It went from the idea of a stream lined chopper to a 70’s death machine
I bought this bike as a basket case. It sat around my shop for about a year and a half while I tried to figure out what to do with it. I offered to build it for my wife but she showed no interest in it. My son started getting into bikes so I decided to build him a chopper and so the journey started.
The whole bike has tons of hand fabricated parts from turn signal mount to coil and key relocation brackets. I shaved down the timing cover removing all unnecessary metal. Trimmed up the sprocket cover. All the oil lines are an6 black steal braided. Custom made tank lift. Custom speedo mount. Forward controls
This was pretty much a ground up build. I’m proud of the whole bike. I’m most proud of the fact that the only thing I out sourced was the powder coating.
The most frequent comment I get is that the bike looks like something out of the 70’s and that it a sweet sled.
