1960/1965/1976 Harley-Davidson Mutt

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Definitely not what you see here. I had planned a Japanese style build but as you can see, this is far from that.

What motivated you to start your project?

A set of cases and lower end I traded a $75 car for that was headed to the scrap yard.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

A lot of handmade and repurposed items that became motorcycle parts. An ornate brass door knob became a gas cap and an old shower diverter is now an oil pressure gauge housing.

What are you most proud of?

The entire build and my wife sticking by me and supporting me, seeing my vision, and pushing me to do what I wanted creatively.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Is it for sale and you’re going to show it, right?

That is one beautiful bitch! All the time spent on all the little things like polishing and making parts from scratch makes it that much more special. A lobor of love truley shows. Another thing making this bike special is all of the love and friendship within it. It has many stories to tell. True craftmanship shows in this piece of art. To say the least, it is a job wonderfully done and you should feel very proud. I know your ol’ lady is. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece.
