I installed these on my 2008 Harley Heritage. The OEM bars that came on the bike were very uncomfortable and winged up on the ends by the grips. It was like I was shrugging my shoulders all the time to hold onto them even when rolled down in the pivot. These bars put your arms and hands in a perfect relaxed position, pulled back and down like they should be. They are identical to the stock bars on a softail custom, so go to harley and sit on a softail custom and if you like the bars, buy em here at dennis kirk. Quality is supurb! Be careful and check that your master cylinder cover is snug on your handlebar brake assembly as the assembly will be sitting at a bit of a angle after installation, due to downward pullback. Also, take the small clamps off that secure the brake line to the front fork cover to give you more ease in installation of the brake assembly onto the handlebar. The brake line is long enough as stock, but you need to release and reverse those small clips.
Replaced a pair a of low drag bars on my wife's FXR4. I drilled these for internal wiring myself as the equivalent drilled bars offered are not dimpled and the control clamps would have pinched the wire harnesses. She is 5'9" and these put her in a much better sitting position with her hands at a perfect height and enough bend in her elbow for steering leverage.
