Great upgrade
I bought these for my Sporstman 500 after the stock springs were shot after 4,000 miles of heavy use. These springs are priced MUCH lower than at the local dealer, and they work very well. I have 1,000 miles of heavy hauling and plowing on them and they work great. They help hold the front end up better than stock without being too harsh unloaded. If you don't haul much or plow alot I would buy softer ones, but they are perfect for my use.

Nice but only a single spring!
I liked them, but thought I was buying a pair, not a single spring. They should be sold in pairs. Naturally I went back to the website to ordoer another one, and now they don't have any in stock. So with only one, I haven't installed them yet

Heavy Duty?
I don't know why it says on the website they won't fit my Sportsman 500 when they are listed for it in the 2008 catalog. They do fit, but they may not be as HD as advertised. The OEM springs have more and tighter windings at the top. But I guess the kind of steel and the hardening process are a factor too.
