This ignition switched saved my life. I was on a path of destruction filled with cheap booze and cheaper women, tricked into smoking the devils lettuce even, until one day in as I awoke on the floor in a haze after an all night meth binge. As I rolled over and tried to ascertain if the woman next to me was still alive I saw a glowing light coming from a box by the door. I cautiously approached, and the closer I got a heard the singing of angels become louder. Finally, hands trembling, I held the pandoran box in my hands. I could feel the holy energy emanating from withing. The tears fell as I opened the sacred flaps, and freed from its holding floated up the holy artifact before me: The replacement ignition switch for Jesus' 74 Honda CB750K... I fell to my knees and praised the lord on high for his forgiveness of such a lonely sinner. My life was forever changed.
Lost the key for my 82 yamaha 650 seca, dennis kirk carried the emgo ign. switch for the bike, I installed it with the oem style connect, hooked up the battery and fired the bike up, it was that easy. Thanks
I purchased the emgo ignition switch for my suzuki GS550.It's identical to the OEM switch except in price.OEM switch $124.00 emgo switch $18.99 I'm not sure what the difference is but it works great and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a ignition switch.
Bought this for my 83 750 virago. It bolted right up and plugged into the wireing harness. Install was less then 15 minutes. Switch works great and the lock works good aswell. Very pleased with the switch and the cheap price. Thanks DK!
The web site said it was an exact fit for my CB900C and it was I bolted it in not issues the connected fit and the switch has performed flawlessly the price was excellent I recommend this switch to anyone considering it.
This ignition fits like a glove. My motorcycle is 25 years old. I'm on the third ignition switch as they don't last forever. It will be interesting to see how long this one will last. I couldn't be happier, I highly recommend this!
1984 magna V45 700 iginition switch from emgo,No#1
If you have a honda magna 1984 700 it will work perfectly.Im not a mechanic but it it only took 20 min to put it in or less.I check out the old switch and didn't get continueitywhen it cyce the key switch.I was getting power to ignition switch haness. That told me time to get a new switch.Pice for a honda was to costly, and this was just the right price. Thanks .....
This switch was purchased for donor parts for a Honda it wasn,t intended to fit. The overall interchangeability of the internal parts was dimensionally identical to the part that is out of production so that it could be modified to restore a pristine bike to perfect working order!
The package arrived on time, undamaged. The part fits in the triple tree and bolts in exactly as the OEM did. The key smoothly turns the switch through all of the contact positions and the steering lock. Two of the wires on the Emgo were color coded differently than stock, requiring me to refit the modular connector with spades. I think it's a nicely finished part with clear lettering and that it will actually make my Suzuki a little more secure against criminals because of the mismatched switch, helmet, gas cap and seat lock keys - a good deal for the money.
