How adjustable are these in height?
Jeremiah A on Aug 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The shocks are not adjustable in height. They can only be adjusted for tension. You would need to find a shorter version if lowering is desired.
what's the spring rate for these?
A shopper on Oct 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Do not have the rating on these
Are these sold as a pair?
Christienne F on Feb 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes I bought them for my 79 Yamaha 750 special. They sit a little higher then stock as I believe they are actually for the xs 750. Good product though and very pleased w/ them
What is the spec from hole to hole?
A shopper on Dec 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 13.25 inches. I mounted these new shocks and springs on a 1978 Suzuki GS750. The shocks come with adapters for different sized mounting bolts. Progressively wound springs are a nice feature for varying loads. Shocks came with a spanner tool for pre-load adjustment. I weigh 165 pounds and rarely carry a passenger. Huge improvement over my leaking and worn out original shocks.
Will these shocks fit my 1982 goldwing 1100 aspencade??
Tommy C on Apr 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: measure your shocks from upper bolt hole to lower bolt hole, doesn't have to be exact but should be close. They fit my '75 gl1000 fine.

Great update for old worn out shocks!
These shocks worked great on my 75 Goldwing. They look great, too! The only issue I had was that the stock upper mounts on my Goldwing were larger than 14mm, so I had to reuse the old bushings. Also, the new bushing would've been too narrow, and required a spacer. So it worked out pretty well!

emgo classic shocks 17-05532
Mounting bushing were to small to fit my cb360. With the proper size drill bit and a battery drill i drilled them out and the installation was complete.Bike sits a little higher, but the ride is much better then the old worn out shocks.

Install on stock 1972 CB450
These shocks are a very tight fit, especially on the left side (against the chain guard). Bottom connection needs a couple of more spacers, otherwise you may experience install issues.

Rubber grommets on top are very tight.

The price is right and the quality is good, but these shocks are nowhere near constructed as heavy duty as the originals.

The overall handling is better than the old mostly worn out shock, but the ride is much stiffer as well.

I will leave these shocks on (for the moment), but I will look for alternatives in the future and will also consider rebuilding the originals.

Great price and fit for the 1971 CB450. The rubber on top could have been a little wider 1/4". Would buy again!
