EBC Double-H Sintered Metal Brake Pads - FA214/2HH
Feature a friction rating of HH - the highest in the industry
Last twice as long as organic pads and provide maximum brake effect
NOTES: All brake pads and shoes are sold in sets for one disc or drum. Order one set for each disc or drum on your motorcycle
Never use sintered metal brake pads in calipers originally equipped with non-sintered brake pads. Check your owners manual to see if sintered metal brake pads are standard equipment on your motorcycle
These are an excellent upgrade vs the stock R1 GH pads. You get more bite and more stopping power with less fade. Works well in dry or wet. Highly recommended.
This was the first brake change on my bike. These pads have low dust, very little noise, and they always stop on a dime. I have not noticed any fade in wet or hot conditions. These will be be my choice from now on.
Starts to bite very soon after install, which fit perfectly, when warmed up they feel pretty good.
I had a little more meat on my pads before I put these in, and i had immediate better response and feed back in my break lever. I have felt better breaks (brembo calipers/pads on the s100rr) but these EBC feel very nice on my cbr600rr (factory caliper/rotors).
Best brake pads ever I thought my Interceptor had great brakes before but WOW these are WAY better.
Took a little while for them to break in but now NO fade wet or dry not grabby at all and work flawlessly. I will use these on every bike I will ever own for sure!
This company provides great service and their prices are very competitive. The product that I received was a great value for the money and I shall continue to do business with Dennis kirk! Thanks DC
Installed just before a trip to the mountains on my kawi Vulcan 900LT rear disc, plenty of break-in time 250 of flat hi-way to get there, but are really noisey only at light pedal applications even after 1K miles. Tried some organic pads previous but they didn't last 6K miles, so went with these, hope they get quieter as time passes, kinda embarrassing.
I've always used Double-H brakes on my sport-touring VFR750, so when it came time to get new pads for the 07 FLHTCUI, I had no hesitation in ordering these. Fit perfect, and stock soo smoothly. Now just to order some rears and I'd be able to stop in half the distance as the OEMs.
I have always replaced my brake pads with HH on every bike I owned. Gives better feel and improved stopping power/distance on my race bikes as well as my daily riders. THE best safety upgrade for the money!
I found these to be a great alternative to the much more expensive OEM pads for my BMW R1100RT. The pads are quiet, fit perfectly, and have great stopping power.
Although these are a bit pricey, they are well worth the money. On an R1100RT they will howl the front tire with a two finger pull and when I changed them at 20K miles "just because", there was still plenty of pad left. Tires only last me 4K miles, so I am a rather aggressive rider. Never noticed any decrease in power when wet. Great product!
I recently put these pads on my VTX. They fit perfectly. They stop the bike better than the originals. My only problem is that they are very noisy. They make a grinding whistling noise as you ride down the road. The noise is more powerful than the improvement in stopping power. Not sure that I will buy sintered pads again. From now on, I guess I will buy organic pads. Lesson learned.
I don't know If it was because the road was wet, but they tend to squeak a little. Other than that, they are perfect. Was easy to put on once I pushed the pistons back in.
My brakes were worn out and I needed brakes to ride my bike. Dennis Kirk had exactly what I needed and I recieved them fast..I was ready to ride in two days. What more can you ask for.
Pads are noisy. They squeal when applied firmly. I cleaned the rotor, two times, with brake cleaner to see if that would help. I also cleaned the caliper to no avail. I will buy kevlar brake pads next time.
