  • A complete ignition-system upgrade from Dyna that includes Dyna 2000 ignition module and Dyna Twin Fire coils
  • Dyna 2000 ignition features include: expanded advance curve functionality, a special retard mode for turbo-charged and nitrous bikes, choice of four advance curves, a quick curve that simulates a mechanical advancer for hot rod engines and four independent rev-limiter choices from 6000 to 7500 rpm
  • Dyna Twin Fire coils put two performance coils into a single unit only slightly larger than the stock coil; unit mounts easily to the stock mounting bracket; produces spark voltage in excess of 30,000V with fast rise times and high energy

97 Softail Heritage
As my 97 Heritage FLSTC ignition components have reached EOL, wanted roll back the reliability factor to an earlier year. The kit and tech support made this a seamless upgrade.
Using the single fire configuration, based anecdotal evidence, a big improvement has been realized.
1. Starting, no starter kick backs or warm start backfires.
2. Idles smoother.
3. Less vibration as vision in rear view mirrors has improved.
4. Throttle response and predictability is better.
5. Oil temperature seems to be cooler.
6. Once I get off the testing throttle response, will probably see a little better MPG.

Everything went together neatly. My stock coil cover finished the job. Looks like OEM. Very satisfied with results. Tech support has helped with info required for adding a tachometer.
Note: With single fire the tach output will be (2) pulses per revolution, 12v square wave.
