D606 Perfect Match
Having tried several other tires on my WR's, I now know better than to vacillate between manufacturers. The Dunlop 606 is a tire perfectly married to my style of riding... which is having to ride several road miles to get to decent offroad riding. I'd say this tire is the ideal 50/50 tool.
Excellent traction on both on and off road
Excellent and predictable handling characteristics
Excellent life/wear

I'm a lifelong dual-sport rider and I'd never use anything other than this tire.

D606 Great tire
Went back to this tire after numerous others. Trying the 130 instead of the 120 and I love this tire. It hooks up much better and is real stable on the road. Great tire.

D606 on a F650GS
I have used this tire on a second wheelset I have for my F650GS.
It was purchsed for a Trans America Trail trip that included roughly 1300 miles of dirt/rocks/sand/silt and about 1200 miles of pavement.

The tire perfomed flawlessly even after a 800 mile ride on interstate to get to where we were picking up the trail.

I continued to ride with it on my commute afterwards until the knobs started tearing at about 4000 miles. If I kept the speeds lower and spent more time in the dirt they may have lasted longer.

They are kind of dicey on wet pavement. They are really sensitive to tire pressure on the pavement as well.
