Great price
This model of tire came stock on my 09FXD. I got around 9,800 miles out of my rear tire, (no burnouts) and 15,500 out of my front tire. The majority of which were all highway. (65-80mph) Bought one replacement rear tire from an H-D dealership, tire purchase and mounting was $254.00. I got around 9,700 out of it. Get a front and rear for about the same price! Dennis Kirk has the BEST prices and FASTEST shipping!

Best deal on tires
I recently purchased a new Dunlop tire for my Superglide. Dennis Kirk not only had the tire in stock and ready to ship immediately, but was $70.00 cheaper than anybody else. I will continue to make all my purchases with Dennis Kirk.

Good Grip
This is a great tire for the Sportster Sport. It is the original equipment tire. Good gripping power when pushing it in the twisties. Yes - Sportster riders do that too. I was really pleased with the prompt shipment and delivery.

What is the difference between this and the Dunlop 401?
A shopper on Feb 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The Dunlop 401 and 402 series tires are considered touring tires which are manufactured using a harder rubber compound then K-591 series tires. K-591's are manufactured with a softer rubber compound and handle better in both dry and wet road conditions. K-591 tires came as original equipment on super glide sport and sportster sport models which were both designed with excellent handling in mind. The D401 and 402's will last longer but won't handle as well as K-591 series tires. I've owned all three of the tires series mentioned and I prefer the K-591's for better traction and handling.
Can you use a tube in this tire? ..
Steven L on May 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't see why not. Ran my own shop for a while and we ran tubes in tubeless tires all the time. Ran dunlops on my dyna with spoked rim with tube and had no problems besides how else can you run it on a spoked wheel? Go for it and you should be fine. Hope this helps Bill
