What is the year of production on the tires you sell?
Kevin S on Aug 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We sell a lot of tires and the new stock that comes in is rotated frequently, the tires can be anywhere from 6 months to 2 years old on average. They are stored in our temperature controlled warehouse. These 100/90-19 tires we have have a date code of 4115.
how do I know the tires ordered are new manufactured within the last 6months?
mark g on May 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Chances are, a tire 6months old will be rare, we rotate our stock frequently, they are in a controlled environment, and we are getting in new stock all the time. Most dates I've looked at are anywhere from 6months to 1 1/2 years. Date code on this tire is 2518, makes the tire about 8 months old. You don't have to worry about our tires, they are sticky and new.
Whats the shelf life on the tires you sell???
K G on Apr 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I ordered them they were only 3 and 4 months old.
what air pressure is recommended?
A shopper on Aug 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Touring models. 36psi
Both the Dunlop Elite 4 and the Dunlop American Elite fit my ride. There is a slight difference in the tread design. Is there any other difference in the their construction? Would one be expected to grip better in wet conditions? Dry conditions? Cold? Last longer? Dunlop itself has not repsponded to this question. If they ever should, I will update with that answer.
MIKE A on Oct 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mike's I bought the elite 4 almost a year ago at this point I have more than 16,000 miles on it and I run it on a very heavy bike which is of course the Goldwing I have no complaints and I'll tell you straight up everything they said is true it's a fantastic Tire I will rebuy them for my Goldwing and I am switching my Kawasaki 1600 Vulcan over to that same Tire
Good morning,
Are all your tires new tires & not blemished tires?
Thanks
A shopper on Apr 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have never seen a blemished tire yet do believe this must be disclosed with item descriptions so short answer is no to the best of my knowledge
I just bought a 2003 Gold Wing 1832cc. with 40,000 miles. Want to replace tires and would love some input as to handling, mileage, tub/ tubeless??, radial/ bias?? I'm not afraid of spending some money on a quality product... just want to find the right one.

Can I get these in a white wall tire?

It is my understanding that you can't mix radials and bias ply? If this is correct why are you offering a Dunlop Elite 4 radial for the front of a GL1500?
Bruce G on Mar 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: All tires of your size will be offered, it would be best to run a radial in the rear also if you choose this radial front tire if your rims are designed for radials
are they radials front and rear?

great grip, 2nd one in just over 2000 miles NOT ROUND
This tire sticks like glue, and ride much better than the E3's we had previously, but the first one I put on last fall was out of round, had to wait til this spring to get another as it can take up to 4 weeks for dunlop to make a decision, The new tire ( same date code) is worse than the first one !! Have used dunlop since 1978 !! NO MORE, this is on a 92 goldwing, I bought good tires to ride, not swap them out till a good one comes along !!!!

Front Tire Elite 4 (130/70R) Suzuki M109R
Handles better than Elite 3 series, especially with uneven pavement i.e., grooves, cracks, uneven tar, etc. Haven't tested in rain, try to avoid wet riding as much as possible, currently in San Diego, CA area.

Saweet !!
Super sticky in corners & tracks true on the highway. No wiggle when going over grooves. I haven't run them in the rain yet. Pricey but I hope they are worth it.

Nice Grip but Low Mileage
First impression replacing my Elite 3 with this Elite 4 was a much better grip and handling. I'll give them that.

But, my Elite 3 lasted 9800 miles. My Elite 4 is warning me and it's only 6700 miles on it.

Maybe my passenger is gaining weight. I was told the Elite 4 would give me much more mileage. That's not my experience. Too expensive for miles. I'll try something else.

So Far, I Love Them
Just installed the Elite 4's on my Goldwing, GL1800. So far, they are terrific. Great feel to the ride and OK in wet weather too. Grips nice in the turns as well. I have switched from the OEM Bridgestone's which were fine, except they just didn't last very long. I use the Counteract Beads for balancing which I also like very much, so I am hoping that my great ride continues for many, many miles. I will do an update to my review in that regard down the road, thus I did not rate that above. So far though, they seem to be worth the difference in price, especially with the rebate that Dunlop was offering.

The jury is still out
I really like the Elite series of tires but getting one that is round is usually the problem. I have only put 1500 miles on this tire but it is round and rides good. I have been running another brand of tire and they just don't last long. I usually get a ton of miles out of these. We will see.

not worth the hype
I put the E4 on my front tire first. The center tread groove has a tendency to follow grooves in the road. Mine has one side of the tread wearing out white the center groove is still deep. Not a good tire profile for a front tire. I put the rear on much later. Too soon to know anything.
