First thing I noticed that they felt very light, almost like plastic, but they are "aftermarket" so I went to install the left one onto my 2001 RK. The switches mounted in fine, but when I went to install the pieces together on the bars, I couldn't get the bolt threaded to the other piece. I took it apart and noticed the bolt's threads were not even protruding our of the bottom housing and the bolt was stuck in there. The shaft was not big enough to fit the bolt's head. I honed out the shaft so the bolt would go through and was able to secure the two pieces together. I tightened them as far as I could and the assembly was loose on the bars even though there was no space betweens the two halfs. I then look at the other pair and sure enough the shaft was too small for the bolt head on the that one as well. What was worse though was that the shaft was so thin on one side there was an open space where I could see the bolt from the side. So if I tried to hone it out some, the shaft would lose even more structural integrity. So these are going in the trash. I was really surprised of the cheap quality of this part. I have bought many items from DK and was always happy...except this time.
